Instructional design is the process by which we maximize learning - making learning more effective, pleasant, and straightforward.

Knowledge

The distribution of knowledge is, i've found, much more of an art than a science. We have to answer the question - how do people learn?

I'm John - an instructional designer, web developer, and video editor.

I'm a person who is interested in solving problems - usually, by providing knowledge managment solutions to people who have both limited time and resources.

With over a decade of experience in information technology and multimedia development, I've spent years working with subject matter experts to distribute knowledge and training.

As an independent consultant, I am open to projects that offer opportunities for mutual growth and benefit. I'm based out of the Washington, DC, metro area - but am happy to travel anywhere.
