Instructional Design

Instructional Design is defined as the process by which instruction is improved through the analysis of learning needs and systematic development of learning materials.
My process is simple; familiarize myself with the content; establish goals and objectives for the instructional pieces; design and develop learning.
The skills needed to be a successful instructional designer are comprehensive —advisor, team member, and interpretation of the technical for the non-technical—all to achieve a singular goal; provide knowledge that users actually want with the limited resources that are available.
